Colossians 3:16 (KJV)16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

FROM THE PASTOR’S HEART
Greetings in the name of The Lord.
Two major functions of the church are Ministry and Missions.
Our Purpose Statement says that “At El Bethel, we have a Ministry to The Master, The Members, and The Multitude”. Our Motto states that, “We are a Christ-Centered, Bible-Believing, Mission-Minded, Friendly-Fellowship”
I am thankful for the Ministries and Missions of El Bethel, some of which have recently occurred. I’m thankful for the help received for Tim and Kathy. I’m thankful for our offering and supplies received for PWC. I’m encouraged by our Clothing Closet Ministry and the ones who gave blood last week.
I rejoice when I see our young ladies encourage our older ladies with hand -made lap quilts.
If there were time and space, additional things could be listed. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
March brings other opportunities for Ministry and Missions. We will begin planning for IMPACT Week this month and it will take place next month. Also, please be in prayer for our VBS later in June.
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is our Giving Tree Project for March. Please pray for our North American Missionaries and give to support them if you can. Although February is over, let’s continue to encourage others through spoken words, written words, and deeds and acts of kindness.
Also, our Sunday School remains an important part of our church. If you are not in Sunday School, please consider joining a class. If you are in Sunday School, continue to invite people to be with us.
From a preaching perspective, we will soon return to our study on the miracles of John. We continue our study of the book of Daniel on Wednesdays and we have just started the study of the tremendous book of I John on Sunday nights. You are welcome and encouraged to attend each of these services each week.
