Colossians 3:16 (KJV)16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

FROM THE PASTOR’S HEART
Greetings in the name of The Lord.
Many things have been happening, are happening, and will continue to happen here at El Bethel as we close out the 2018 calendar year. The Children and Youth have been busy and the Jolly Seniors have as well. We met our Janie Chapman Offering goal and are now working toward our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
Joyful Sound will be with us on the morning of November 18 and we will have our Annual Thanksgiving service that night.
I’m excited about our Men’s Ministry event of November 19, our CAMO night, which stands for Calling All Men Out. We are in the world, but we do not need to be of the world. God is looking for Christian men (and women) who will stand boldly for Him.
As we think of America, this week we have the privilege to vote and we also celebrate our veterans who gave us the freedom that we enjoy. May we never forget the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve in our Military. As we head into the Holiday Season, may we remember that every good gift comes down from the Father and the greatest gift is the gift of His Son; because God does not want any to perish.
In closing, let me once again thank you for your prayers, calls, cards, and other acts of kindness shown to my family and me during Dawn’s recent medical trials. We appreciate you and all that you have done to help us and to encourage us during this difficult time. May God richly bless all of you.
